I've had one of these glove straps for at least seven years now, probably longer, and it's hands down the best strap I've ever had for my gloves. With a little bit of oil and care, it still looks brand new after all the use and abuse I've put it through. The metal buckle has held up great, and that was what I was thinking would give me trouble with getting soaked and dirty but I've never had an issue with it. Would recommend to anyone!
